Next Chapter for unwanted drugs this Saturday - don't flush 'em!

Published on: 4/23/2014

The Waukesha Country Drug Free Coalition hosts a drive-through collection of unwanted medications and drugs each year. The collection involves four months of planning and 250 volunteers to run this one-day event.  You CAN bring prescription medications and over the counter medications, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, herbals and pet medications.  Please do NOT bring any biohazardous materials, including sharps, mercury, household hazardous waste and personal hygiene products.

You don't even have to get out of your car.  Just round up all of your medications that you don't need and drive to one of the sites below.  You'll be encouraged to make a donation to help support the effort that keeps drugs out of our water supply.  I've seen folks give everything from a $20 to loose change - it all helps.
