State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Wisconsin Child Care Costs More than College

The April 14, 2014 online edition of the Washington Post reported that 31 states, including Wisconsin, it is more expensive to send your child to day care than to college.  The information from Child Care Aware America report entitled, “Parents and High Cost of Child Care:  2013 Edition” reveals the average cost of Wisconsin day care is $9,939 a year, while Wisconsin college costs an average of $8,690 a year.  Click here for more info.
