State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

OpenBook Wisconsin Website Launched
The website OpenBook Wisconsin, launched January 2, 2014, allows public access to state expenditures displaying payments for state of Wisconsin goods and services beginning fiscal year 2008 to the present time.  The website includes search capabilities by vendor, state agency, or expenditure category. 

The OpenBook Wisconsin website is a beta website.  A beta website means the website is in a birthing or testing phase. 

Information about University of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the courts, employee salary and fringe data, grant information, and contracts with state agencies are expected to be added.

The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) manages the website.
