State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

The Joint Finance Committee Approves Mining Bill

Today, Monday, February 25, 2013, I was pleased to vote in favor of the mining bill along with other Republican members of the Joint Finance Committee (JFC).  The JFC vote to appove the mining bill was 12-4.  The full State Senate is expected to vote on Senate Bill 1, Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
