State Senator Lazich Appointed to Joint Committee on Finance

State Senator Mary Lazich released the following statement about her appointment to the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance.

“It is an honor to once again work for my constituents on such an important committee.”  Lazich previously served on the committee during the 2003-04 and 2005-06 legislative sessions.

“Last session, the Joint Committee on Finance played an integral role in turning a projected $3.6 billion state budget deficit into a projected surplus,” Lazich said.  “Residents of Senate District 28 are strong believers in fiscal conservatism.  I am pleased to continue advocating on their behalf for balanced budgets and efficient government.”
